Our Pilates & Fitness Retreats are suitable for everyone with a basic level of health and fitness. We can cater for most injuries, as long as we're aware in advance. You'll be asked to complete a screening Health Questionnaire as part of the booking process. You can be a complete beginner to Pilates or a pro though!

    To participate on our Runners or Cyclist Retreats, it is assumed you are regularly running or cycling. For instance, as a minimum you'll be running at least 5km without stopping at a comfortable pace, without feeling overly pushed. For more able and experienced athletes there will be options for you too!

    We keep group sizes small. There are 8 guest bedrooms accommodating 2 guests each, although two rooms can sleep 3 guests, so that's 16-18 guests per retreat. You'll be looked after by two or three trained teaching staff and a kitchen team.

    Yes of course! All but one of the rooms are available as twin bedrooms, so it would mean sharing with one other guest but each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Please do get in touch if you'd like to come but are alone and we'll try and find you a suitable roomie!

    If you'd prefer your own room, this is also possible but the Package Price is based on full occupancy (i.e. two sharing a room). That said, we can offer a small discount so please enquire with us.

    Please complete the Booking Request Form in our Info & Contact menu and we'll endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. If we can meet your requirements you'll need to pay the £175 per person deposit to secure your booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks (56 days) before the start date of the retreat. Please ensure you read and understand our Terms and Conditions.

    Definitely not... this is your holiday! We appreciate that some enjoy a more active holiday than others - please feel free to miss out whatever you wish if you'd rather take a walk or just lounge in the hot tub! That said, our Retreats activity schedules are planned in a way to provide a balanced full body workout over the few days you spend with us, so you return home feeling invigorated and motivated.

    Yes, again this is your holiday. The venue offers luxury accommodation in a beautiful setting. There is also Wifi if your partner needs to work while you play! The package price remains the same for participating and non-participating guests and we would therefore encourage all of our guests to try at least one of our Pilates or Movement sessions.

    We'll email a detailed list closer to the time, but as a starting point for all retreats, good outdoor shoes or wellies, indoor shoes/slippers/ugg boots, clothes for Pilates/Movement sessions, warm jumpers and casual comfortable clothes, hats, scarves and gloves for winter retreats and a good waterproof jacket. If you plan to use the pool and hot-tub, don't forget your swimmers! you might wish to bring flip-flops. Pool towels and bathrobes are provided.

    If you attend one of our Run or Cycle retreats, you'll also need suitable sports-specific clothing and shoes (trainers need to be trail/off-road), something high-viz, a head-torch if you plan to run after dark. Our Run and Cycle experts will be in touch closer to the time to discuss what to bring!

    The best options are to drive or take the train. We will of course encourage you to take the train for environmental reasons - there will be minibus pickup and drop-offs to meet certain trains to and from London for each Retreat. Please let us know when booking if you plan to take the train. If you want to have transport when you are in Cornwall to visit places locally, you may prefer to drive, in which case there is room for parking on the premises.
