Join us at Tregulland, Cornwall, for a weekend of Pilates, Strength and Mobility training, Trail Runs and Coastal Hikes. Runners and running enthusiasts will enjoy our dedicated runners workshops and classes. Newer runners or non-running partners may prefer our regular Pilates classes. Kicking off on a Friday afternoon, the weekend will be a great opportunity to explore the beautiful Cornwall coastline on two feet, enjoy lots of Pilates and Fitness sessions and stay in some fabulous accommodation.
Is this Running Retreat for me?
You don’t have to be a fast or an experienced runner to take part – the weekend is run by two Pilates and Fitness teachers who enjoy running (one is mad keen – lives and breathes running, the other is somewhat more fair weather!), with a shared belief in the benefits of Pilates to not just runners but to anyone who is active and wants to remain so.
You might be after your next PB, or just looking to enjoy the trails with others in some of the best scenery possible. Non-running partners are welcome – there will be general Pilates and Fitness sessions where running shoes will be left outside the studio door!
The weekend will include a few shorter guided runs (5-12km) and one longer, hilly coastal run on Saturday (10-21km). For non-runners, there is the option for a long, hilly hike along the coast too, so don’t forget your trail shoes or hiking boots!
For our running guests, there will be ample opportunity to discuss running techniques, and movement classes geared specifically towards the ranges of movement needed for running.
After the activities, you can eat, drink and relax in the wonderful surrounding of Tregulland, although if you prefer, you’re very welcome to head out by yourself for more running or a long walk.
Our below Itinerary gives you an idea of what to expect from the weekend. Everything is optional; if you decide to have a lie-in and miss an activity that’s absolutely fine, we’re not running a Boot Camp!
Catering is full board from Friday lunch (arrival from noon) through to Sunday afternoon tea, with a pub meal (at extra cost, payable at the pub) arranged for the group on Sunday evening. Monday breakfast is provided prior to departure.
All of our retreat menus are carefully planned with consideration to the activities on offer, to help you get the most from your stay. Please view our sample menus for an idea on what to expect.
